Set up lottery games, books and bins (US)

Add your state lottery's scratch-off games, activate books into bins, count at shift change and settle each day.

Updated 2026-10-17

Lottery tracking is available for US stores. It works alongside your state lottery terminal; it does not replace it.

Add games

  1. Go to Lottery → Games and add each scratch-off game you sell: name, game number, ticket price, tickets per book.
  2. Add draw games as items that are rung as a total per shift.

Activate a book

When a new pack arrives, choose Activate book, scan or type the book number and pick the bin it goes in. The POS now expects that bin to start at ticket 0 (or the number you enter).

Count at shift change

  1. At close, the cashier enters the next ticket number showing in each bin.
  2. The POS works out tickets sold per bin and compares with tickets rung.
  3. Differences show on the shift report against that cashier.

Payouts

Pay winners from the lottery screen up to your store limit. Each payout reduces expected cash in the drawer.

Daily settlement

Enter the terminal’s daily totals (sales, cashes, net) in Lottery → Settlement. The POS lists any difference line by line.
