We build the POS for the store whose lights never go off

GetConvenienceStorePOS is the convenience-store edition of a hosted point-of-sale platform, run by SOHOON Technologies. We build it for independent owners and small chains in the USA, the UAE and Pakistan.

Why a convenience store edition?

A convenience store is the hardest small shop to run on a generic register. It sells age-restricted products all day, handles lottery money that is not really its own, often sells fuel through equipment owned by someone else, files tobacco data with manufacturers, and changes cashiers at 2 a.m.

Generic POS apps leave those jobs to notebooks and spreadsheets. Enterprise c-store systems handle them, at prices and contracts built for chains. We wanted something in between: the c-store jobs built in, at a price a family-run store can see on the page.

How we got here

The story so far, without dates we cannot stand behind.

  1. Seenthe problem

Registers that cannot say where the money went

Store owners told us the same things: the lottery never balances, the drawer is short on the night shift, the scan-data cheque was smaller than expected, and the register vendor only answers in English.

  2. Chosenthe base

A proven POS platform, not a new experiment

We built on a mature, widely used point-of-sale platform that already handled stock, purchasing, registers, multi-location, taxes and translations, and we host it ourselves.

  3. Builtthe edition

    The convenience-store edition on top

Age prompts and logs, lottery bins and settlement, scan-data exports, fuel through pump controllers, quick keys for the coffee rush, and a shift close with blind counts.

  4. Pricedin public

Prices on the page, per country

Month to month, with local prices for the US, the UAE and Pakistan, and no processing lock-in.

  5. Nowyour store

    Self-serve, in your language

Sign up, import your products, ring a sale. The online store builds itself, and the Store Desk answers in six languages.

About us: questions

Who is behind GetConvenienceStorePOS?

GetConvenienceStorePOS is run by SOHOON Technologies. We host the POS platform, build the convenience-store edition and run onboarding and support through a team we call the Store Desk.

Is this a new, untested system?

No. The edition is built on a mature point-of-sale platform used by retailers in many countries, which we host and maintain. The convenience-store features are our layer on top.

Where is the team?

We are remote-first and serve stores in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan. Support hours are on the contact page.

Do you have other editions?

Yes. The same POS comes in editions for groceries, liquor stores, restaurants, salons and more. SmartPOSHub compares them.

Do you sell my data?

No. Your store data is yours. We do not sell it, and you can export or delete it.

How can I reach a person?

Book a demo or send a message from the contact page. A person from the Store Desk replies.
