How store data is hosted, backed up and protected, who can see it, and how you export or delete it. Plain language, no badges we have not earned.
Where your data lives
The POS runs on servers we operate and maintain. Your store data (products, sales, customers, suppliers, staff) is stored there, not on the register.
Backups
The database is backed up automatically to separate storage, so a failed register or a bad day on one server does not lose your history.
Encryption in transit
Every connection between your register, your phone and the POS uses HTTPS.
Who can see what
Every user has their own login or PIN. Roles control what cashiers, managers and owners can see and do, per location.
Card data
Card numbers are handled by your processor's terminal. The POS records that a card payment was made and the amount, not the card number.
ID checks
Age checks keep the result (passed, refused, overridden), not the customer's name, address or licence number.
Your data, your copy
Export products, customers, suppliers and sales at any time. If you leave, you take it with you.
Deletion
When you cancel, the account stays readable for 30 days for export, then it is deleted.
What we do not claim
No PCI, SOC 2, ISO or other certification is claimed for the POS. Card processing sits with your processor. Tax and fiscal certifications are not claimed in any country.

Security questions
Is my store data safe?
Your data is stored on servers we run, backed up automatically to separate storage, sent over HTTPS, and visible only to the people you give logins to. You can export it at any time.
Are you PCI certified?
We do not claim PCI or any other certification. Card payments are processed on your processor's terminal, under their certification, and card numbers do not pass through the POS.
Who at your company can see my data?
Only staff who need to, for support you request or to keep the service running, and only as far as needed.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. We do not sell your store data or your customers' data.
What if the internet goes down?
Keep a backup connection such as a phone hotspot. Your data stays safe on the server; the register reconnects when the internet is back.
Can I control what each cashier sees?
Yes. Roles set permissions such as voids, refunds, discounts, reports and drawer access, per location.
How do I report a security problem?
Send a message from the contact page with "security" in the topic. We reply within business hours.
