Pump 4, a coffee and a lottery ticket. One sale.
A gas station POS that rings fuel and inside sales together through a supported pump controller, and puts gallons by grade in the same shift report. For US stations; ask on your demo which controllers we support.

What is a gas station POS?
A gas station POS is a convenience store register that also controls fuel sales: it authorises a pump for a prepaid amount or settles a postpay, rings fuel alongside inside items in one transaction, and reports fuel by grade and gallons next to inside sales. It does this through the forecourt pump controller, which runs the dispensers.
Fuel is where most US c-stores get their traffic: 122,620 of them sold fuel at the end of 2025, the most in eight years (NACS). Inside the store is where they make their margin. One register for both means one shift close and one place to look.
Prepay, pump, finish: the flow at the counter
- Prepayinside
Customer prepays at the counter
The cashier picks the pump and the amount, adds the coffee and the scratch-off, and takes one payment. The pump controller authorises that pump for that amount.
- Pumpoutside
Fuel flows, the controller meters it
The forecourt controller runs the pumps. The POS waits for the final volume and amount for that pump.
- Finishchange
Under-pump? The change is ready
If the customer prepaid more than they pumped, the POS shows the change due at the counter, so nobody has to remember pump 6.
- Postpayoption
Or pump first, pay after
Where you allow postpay, the cashier selects the finished pump sale and rings it with inside items.
- Closereport
Gallons by grade in the shift report
Fuel sales by grade, gallons and amount sit in the same shift and day reports as inside sales, so you see the whole store in one place.
How the pieces connect
The POS never talks to a dispenser directly. Everything goes through the controller your forecourt already uses.

Fuel and forecourt questions
Straight answers about controllers, pumps and what is supported.
Can one POS run fuel and inside sales?
Yes, through a supported pump controller. Fuel prepay and postpay ring together with inside items in one sale, and fuel totals by grade appear in the same shift report. Which controllers are supported is the first thing we check on your demo.
Which pump controllers do you support?
Forecourt support works through the pump controller at your site, not the dispensers directly. Support varies by controller model and version, so we do not publish a blanket list. Tell us your controller and dispenser brand on the demo and we will tell you plainly whether it works today.
Do I need to replace my pumps?
No. The POS talks to the pump controller, not the dispensers. If your current controller is supported, the pumps stay as they are.
What about pay-at-the-pump card readers?
Outdoor card payments at the dispenser are processed by your forecourt payment system and processor. The POS can record those sales in reports where the controller passes them through; we confirm this per site on the demo.
Can I change fuel prices from the POS?
Fuel grades are items with prices you control. Whether a price change in the POS also changes the price at the pump and on your price sign depends on your controller and sign; most stores change prices at the controller.
Does it work for a c-store without fuel?
Yes. Fuel is an add-on to the convenience store edition. Stores without fuel never see it.
Is fuel available outside the US?
No. Forecourt support is built for US stations. Stores in the UAE and Pakistan use the store edition without fuel.
How much does fuel cost to add?
Fuel is included in Full Shift and Multi-Store plans for US stores once your controller is confirmed. There is no separate forecourt fee from us; your controller vendor may charge for its own setup.
What happens if the controller connection drops?
Inside sales keep working. Pumps can be run from the controller directly as you do today, and the POS records the fuel sales when the connection returns or they are entered by hand.
