Terms of Service

The terms for using this website and the GetConvenienceStorePOS service: trial, billing, cancellation, your data and responsibilities.

Last updated · SOHOON Technologies

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you (the business using the service, and the person accepting on its behalf) and SOHOON Technologies, which operates GetConvenienceStorePOS. By using this website or creating an account you accept them.

The service

GetConvenienceStorePOS is a hosted point-of-sale service for convenience stores and similar retailers, including an online store generated from your catalogue, and optional managed website and CRM services. Features depend on your plan and country. Lottery, fuel and tobacco scan-data features are available for US stores only.

Some features work with third parties you choose: your card processor, your state lottery terminal, your pump controller, manufacturer scan-data programmes and certified EBT processors. Those third parties' terms apply to them; we are not responsible for their services.

Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No card is required. If you do not choose a plan by the end of the trial, the account is paused; nothing is charged.

Plans, prices and billing

Prices are published on the pricing page per country and per store. Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. US prices exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout. UAE prices include 5% VAT. Pakistan prices exclude applicable sales tax. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

Cancellation

Plans are month to month. You can cancel at any time from your account; see the refund and cancellation policy.

Your data

You own the data you put into the service. You give us permission to host and process it to provide the service. You can export it at any time. After cancellation we keep it for 30 days for export, then delete it, except where the law requires us to keep records.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service to break the law, sell products you are not licensed to sell, send messages to people who have not consented, attack or overload the service, or try to access other customers' data. You are responsible for your staff's use of your account.

Your compliance responsibilities

The service provides tools such as age prompts, sale-hour limits, tax settings and reports. You remain responsible for complying with your licences and the laws that apply to your store, including tobacco, alcohol, lottery, tax, consumer-protection and messaging rules. We do not certify stores and do not give legal or tax advice.

Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available at all times and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Keep a backup internet connection at the counter. Support hours are on the contact page.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data beyond our backup obligations, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will give customers at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the country where your store's account is registered, unless the law requires otherwise. We will try to resolve any dispute by talking first.
